Re: PD Phone Spoofing

Please be aware that it is possible our main Police Department number (831-459-2231) is being spoofed in possible scam attempts. You may receive a call from an 831-459-2231 number, where someone claims to be a police officer asking for more information on you or someone else.

This person may use a fake name, or just simply say they are a police officer. If you don't answer, they may leave you a voicemail asking you to call them back.

If you suspect you're not receiving a legitimate call from our agency, please call our Dispatch at 831-459-2231 ext. 1 to confirm.
