Crime Prevention provides the UC Santa Cruz community with the best preemptive measures that will allow for the community to better support and protect themselves. The UC Santa Cruz Police Department offers resources on educating the campus and our local residential communities through activities, on-campus events, workshops and trainings offered throughout each quarter to promote and maintain safety awareness.
We host presentations for new student orientations, employee orientations, workplace violence training, sexual assualt prevention, vehicle and resedential security, and personal safety. Recognizing your vulnerability to crime and addressing the issue through taking preventative steps and cooperation with campus police can empower individuals to promote safety and awareness in our respective communities while at UC Santa Cruz.
